Former Ipswich Corporation 2 (DX 3988) – 22 August 1993 (202-25)

Sunday 22 August 1993 – Ipswich Corporation established a trolleybus system in the town in 1923 employing three Short bodied Railless single deckers. Number 2 (DX 3988) is part of the Ipswich Transport Museum collection.

Originally it featured an open compartment at the rear, a Parisen style, for use by smokers which was connected by a sliding door into the main saloon. It was later rebuilt with an enclosed rear end.
