M.R. Travel Y500 MRT in Rochdale – 5 May 2002 (482-09)

Holiday Monday 5 May 2002 - Mike Royds Travel (M.R. Travel) Optare Solo Y500 MRT seen entering Rochdale bus station. This area is totally unrecognisable today the whole area having changed. The former Yelloway building (the top of which is just visible above the orange canopy) and the two buildings in the background stood on land now occupied by the Rochdale Council building (One Riverside). The bus station has been demolished and redeveloped. A new bus station was built beyond the River Roch on land visible in the background beyond the ‘No Entry’ sign.
