H C Chambers L432 (W526 WGH) and L436 (W519 WGH) in Bury St Edmunds - 27 Dec 2013 (DSCF4382)

27 December 2013 (1147) - H C Chambers and Son Limited became a Go-Ahead subsidiary in May 2012 and the company was placed under the management of Hedingham Omnibuses. A number of step free Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs were transferred from Go-Ahead’s London fleets to replace the older multi-step double deckers inherited from Chambers. In this view at Bury St Edmunds are L432 (W526 WGH) and L436 (W519 WGH) both new to London General in August 2000 as fleet numbers PVL126 and PVL119.
