It is not really a fence but rather a grid, so let's just say a fence-grid... Vergitterter Blick nach draussen. Es ist nicht wirklich ein Zaun, sondern ein Gitter, also sagen wir halt ein Zaungitter... Regard grillagé vers l'extérieur Ce n'est pas vraiment une clôture mais plutôt une grille, alors disons simplement une clôture-grille...

Même à marée basse la plage est jonchée de petits trous d'eau plein de surprises... WHAT THE TIDE HAS LEFT Even at low tide the beach is littered with small water holes full of surprises...

... large expanses with crystal clear salt water. CE QUE LA MER A LAISSÉ... ...grandes étendues avec de l'eau salée limpide.

Ce jour-là, pas de "moules/frites" encore, mais un peu de patience et cela reviendra! STILL CLOSED, BUT NOT FOR LONG That day, no "mussels / fries" yet, but still a little patience and it will come back! IMMER NOCH GESCHLOSSEN, ABER NICHT MEHR LANGE An jenem Tag gab's noch keine "Muscheln/Pommes", doch noch ein wenig Geduld, bald gibt es sie wieder!

In the meantime, it has a beautiful view of Mont St Michel;-) BOOT AUF GRUND... aber mit der nächsten Flut geht es wieder los !! In der Zwischenzeit hat es einen schönen Blick auf den Mont St Michel ;-)

Marée basse vue depuis les falaises de St Jean-le-Thomas. Dans la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel ont lieu les plus grandes marées de l’Europe. Durant une grande marée, la mer se retire à 15 km des côtes et ensuite remonte très rapidement. La géographie particulière de ce lieu marque davantage l'amplitude des flots (près de 13 m les jours de fort coefficient). During a high tide, the sea retreats 15 km from the coast and then rises very quickly. The particular geography of this place further marks the amplitude of the waves (almost 13 meters on days with a high coefficient). WARTEN AUF DIE RÜCKKEHR DES MEERES Ebbe, gesehen von den Klippen von St. Jean-le-Thomas. In der Bucht des Mont-Saint-Michel finden die größten Gezeiten Europas statt. Bei Flut zieht sich das Meer 15 km von der Küste zurück und kommt dann sehr schnell wieder zurück. Die besondere Geographie dieses Ortes markiert ferner die Amplitude der Wellen (fast 13 m an Tagen mit einem hohen Koeffizienten).

No need to explain : it's Mont Saint Michel...

Confinés à 100 km autour... pour nous, le Mont St Michel se trouve dans ce rayon. Donc, nous voilà partis pour une superbe balade sans foule, sans car de touristes, sans restos ouverts.... juste quelques promeneurs comme nous pour profiter de ce lieu extraordinaire. Confined to 100 km around ... for us, Mont St Michel is within this radius. So here we go for a superb walk without crowd, without bus full of tourists, without open restaurants .... just a few walkers like us to enjoy this extraordinary place. Auf 100 km begrenzt, weiter dürfen wir nicht ... der Mont St. Michel liegt für uns in diesem Umkreis. Also machen wir hier einen grossartigen Spaziergang ohne Menschenmassen, ohne Touristenbusse, ohne geöffnete Restaurants ... nur ein paar Fussgänger wie wir, um diesen außergewöhnlichen Ort zu geniessen.

The journey continues to Paestum which contains three of the most well-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world, including the two Hera Temples. Paestum was a major ancient Greek city on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in southern Italy. The ruins of Paestum are famous for their three ancient Greek temples in the Doric order, dating from about 600 to 450 BC, which are in a very good state of preservation. The city walls and amphitheatre are largely intact, and the bottom of the walls of many other structures remain, as well as paved roads. IL ETAIT UNE FOIS ... Le voyage continue vers Paestum qui contient trois des temples grecs antiques les mieux conservés au monde, y compris les deux temples de Héra. Paestum était une grande ville grecque antique sur la côte de la mer Tyrrhénienne en Italie du sud. Les ruines de Paestum sont célèbres pour leurs trois temples grecs antiques de l'ordre dorique, datant d'environ 600 à 450 avant JC, qui sont en très bon état de conservation. Les murs de la ville et l'amphithéâtre sont en grande partie intacts, comme le bas des murs de nombreuses autres structures ainsi que des routes pavées. ES WAR EINMAL ... Die Reise geht weiter nach Paestum, wo sich drei der am besten erhaltenen antiken griechischen Tempel der Welt befinden, darunter die beiden Hera-Tempel. Paestum war eine bedeutende antike griechische Stadt an der Küste des Tyrrhenischen Meeres in Süditalien. Die Ruinen von Paestum sind berühmt für ihre drei antiken griechischen Tempel im dorischen Orden, errichtet etwa 600 bis 450 v. Chr., die sich in einem sehr guten Erhaltungszustand befinden. Die Stadtmauern und das Amphitheater sind weitgehend intakt, und der Boden der Mauern vieler anderer Bauwerke sowie asphaltierte Straßen sind noch erhalten.

J.-C. Chr. total begraben worden zu sein.
