This gallery grave is a communal burial place and dates from 2400 BC. It's a specific type of Megalithic tomb where the burial chamber is about the same size as the entrance passage. The objects found at the grave were gifts for the dead (archaeologists have updated more than thousand objects: vases, shards of pottery, arrows, tools, polished axes). The fact that no bones were found here could be due to the aciditiy of the soil.

Passé le porche, s’étalent en contrebas les vestiges de l’ancienne abbatiale du XIIIe siècle. De ce long édifice d’une centaine de mètres, il reste des parties élevées du porche et du transept, ainsi que les bases des murs et des colonnes de la nef qui en dessinent parfaitement le plan.

Saint-Julien-des-Roncerais, petite chapelle au milieu de nul part est construit en 1450. Elle est citée dans les anciens textes en 1451 comme "capelliana sancti Juliani".

Le givre était bien tenace ce jour-là, mais malgré tout, le début de l'hiver s'est montré bien coloré.
