Thank you very much. Really appreciated. The winter light can be so pretty and makes everything look better. There are deer up there and I was really hoping to see one but unfortunately it didn't happen. Maybe next time we will take the longer route and might be lucky.

The light combined with the greens, especially that of the moss, the hint of gold in the trees and on the woodland floor is quite something. A walk in the woods is not to be beaten at any time of year, but in winter (without snow) the mellowed colours of the autumn make the walk even more rewarding. The main image and the PiP with the moss covered tree trunk capture the mood of the season very well.

Thank you very much Doug. It is a place we will go back to, - the natural beauty and the sheer silence was wonderful. The light was good which brought out the colours and the moss on the trees always seems attractive to me. My son loves this place for walking and has seen deer on occasions. Hopefully next time....
