It's a lovely view and even better large as you say. Nice to see the Old Man from a different viewpoint. I've driven up the road in the shot a few times but usually on my way to Uig and the Outer Hebrides.

Thank you very much Jean, It is not such a good view of the Old Man from here but there are still some good views. We stopped initially to get some shots of the light and shade but as usual took a lot of other shots too! It is easy to see where the time goes!

I would love to go back to the Outer Hebrides some day, - in the meantime I can but dream!

Stunning scenery. We stayed in Skye for a week quite a few years ago now, and the mist and drizzle never lifted once until our last day there, when we saw what we'd been missing.

Thank you very much Amelia. I am sorry the weather wasn't good when you visited Skye. We have had weeks like that too and it is a bit disappointing, but when the sun comes you see the full glory of the island. I must admit I have never seen so many beautiful rainbows as I have on Skye, - testament to the amount of rainfall they have I guess!! If you do risk the weather again the Fairy Glen is well weth a visit - the landscape is amazing. Have a good weekend
