Roter Vari - Red ruffed lemur
Der Rote Vari (Varecia rubra) ist eine auf Madagaskar lebende Primatenart aus der Gruppe der Lemuren. Im Tierpark Berlin werden einige Tiere in einem sehr großen Freigehege gehalten, das auch von Besuchern betreten werden kann. Die Varis sind ungefährlich und sehr zutraulich!

cammino club has replied to Janet Brien clubThe advantage of the Vari outdoor enclosure is that the animals are very trusting and can also be stroked. The supervising woman said: " You don't have to be afraid of the varis when stroking them, if they don't like it anymore, they run away! :)
