Actually the seagulls, perched on the pontoon, so quiet perhaps after a 'picnic':-), attracted me so much that I tried to get a point of view to include them against the background with the mountain: it was January 1, 2020.

Anche qui, una splendida semplicità rafforza il senso della foto, quella "serenità" che gentilmente ci auguri nella didascalia. C'è una certa prevalenza di tinte tenui e sfumate nell'acqua del lago ed il monte piacevolmente sfumati che sembrano fondersi tra di loro. A fronte di tutto questo, troneggia nettamente il pontile sulla sn. con il suo seguito di gabbiani che sembrano in attesa di qualche preda e la loro postura immobile rafforza il senso di sospensione del tempo che aleggia in questa accattivante inquadratura del lago. Anche la luce non eccessivamente diretta rafforza questo tipo di narrazione che rende la foto non riferibile ad un tempo preciso.
Mi piace questa Tua intuizione, questa Tua narrazione non solo di uno scorcio di lago, ma anche di una sensazione, di uno stato d'animo che hai perfettamente comunicato ai nostri occhi …. e ai nostri cuori.

In quella giornata così particolare nella luce calda e primaverile di un 1° gennaio 2020, ho provato davvero, un senso di felice e serena sospensione dallo scorrere del tempo e , sinceramente, me ne sono lasciata immergere.
Tra le tante foto scattate, mi sono accorta di questi gabbiani, in gruppo stranamente silenzioso... anche loro colti dalla magia del momento ?
Non credo, forse solo già ben pasciuti:-)
La luce era radente e non potevo certo lasciarmi sfuggire il background con quel monte , forse anch'esso, un po' trasognato..almeno nella mia immaginazione !
felice di essere riuscita a comunicare la serenità, sì la serenità di questo momento!

In this delightful vesperal half-day, this marvel of Lago di Garda merges its shores. And you have taken as foreground this old pontoon that contrasts beautifully and where the seagulls contemplate this spectacle that prepares their calm and restful night ...
Such a lovely painting, Bea. There is nothing more peaceful than such a vision!

This moment very dear to me dates back to January 1, 2020, dear Eric.
I must say a day of lights and lukewarm shades that merged towards sunset, almost producing a transparent haze.
So, I think that in that moment, even the seagulls, which I usually don't love for their screeching and ferocity, appeared to me as cute little birds, enjoying together with me, that enchanting atmosphere :-)
