Tied up castle.

Tied up castle.
This 14th century castle seems to be tied with ropes all around. It's the Castle of Evoramonte (also spelt Évora Monte), standing on top of the walled part of the village, a civil parish of Estremoz council, northeast of Évora.

Is that to keep it from listing or collapsing, or just an optical illusion? Great picture.
