Queen Wilhelmina Garden

Queen Wilhelmina Garden
Enjoying the tulips while keeping at a safe distance from those adorable little (potential) vectors of disease ....
Larger version is nicer.
And here's a bit of context and history: goldengatepark.com/queen-wilhelmina-tulip-garden.html

Without Queen Wilhelmina (grandmother of the existing queen, Beatrix), the Dutch Windmill would not exist in Golden Gate Park because it was she who donated the structure to the city in 1902.

Didn't know that and missed the park during my visit to San Francisco.

I’m usually very grumpy about children and have always kept a wary distance....but now it really lifts my sprits to see them. It is a gift to see that they will be mostly unaffected by this virus....Even if they should all have tee shirts with Superspreader! emblazoned on the front.
