Been a bit under the weather -- no, not the dreaded C-virus, just a common but hefty cold -- sorry for not being able to respond much to your fine work.
Stay well, everyone!

I find it difficult to judge wether it’s a cold or flu or the virus. The accounts made by people who have been tested ( really very few) range from very mild malaise to intense, debilitating flu-like symptoms which may lead to respiratory problems. We’ve had all the Cov-19 symptoms over the past ten days, but in a mild form. If it was the virus then we’ll have immunity now; if it wasn’t we’re still at risk. There’s no way of knowing. It’s as difficult to untwist as this tree.

I knew all along it wasn't covid19 because I had no fever, no difficulty breathing, no chest pain, and no flu-type symptoms. Also, I had this type of cold with a wretched night cough in the past, though thankfully, it had been years. I finally was prescribed antibiotics and am now on the mend.
Most accounts of covid19 I heard were quite different and more serious, and as you know, the infection is particularly dangerous in older people.
Either way, it's unsettling. The scientists at the institution I work at are working around the clock and testing should become much more widely available and quicker soon.
In a way, this whole thing feels like a test ... a test of humanity.

It should be a tipping point for real change, I hope.
