I really like your composition in this shot.............the light, especially where it's reflected on the water is just fantastic! The fishing boat looks lovely trailing it's wake behind it. The clouds seem quite threatening suggests a storm is coming. This really makes you think about the dangerous life fishermen lead.

Thanks very much, Keith! This is a typical wooden fishing boat, they go out in nearly every weather. The clouds brought snow but there wasn't much wind. But once the boat would be past the islands in the open sea there'd always be danger, the Barents Sea isn't benign....

MARVELOUS! I love the b/w format. The grey tones and watching the boat head out when the weather is so murky...it's all very lonely and moody. And yet, there is a great beauty as well. A lovely picture, thank you for sharing!
