Thank you so much, Janet! This place on the edge of the civilized world is suffering from high unemployment as the fisihing industry has taken a hit. The radars are officially monitoring space but of course NATO is spying on the Russians from there;-)

Such an amazing urban landscape...................the light is gorgeous and the detail you've captured is fantastic.

I especially like the domes..............and the birds! Another fave for me..!! Some interesting street art on show too, particularly the black and white piece.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend viewing this large, on black..!!

Thanks a lot, Keith! I have never managed to get off the boat to visit this town. They have lots of interesting street art which was put there some years ago, now sadly deteriorating. There is also a highly interesting witch monument by Swiss architect Zumthor (they used to burn witches in this place).

Dank dir, poly! Von I weiß ich nichts, III ist anscheinend im Bau und die Bevölkerung fühlt sich verschaukelt, weil es größer wird als vorher gesagt und man eine erhöhte Krebsrate auf die Strahlung zurückführt.

Naja, das mit der Strahlung ist so eine Sache. Wenn sie mit der Antenne nur Strahlung empfangen, dann können die Dinger nicht schädlich sein; dann ist ja die Strahlung überall.
Aber "Radar" deutet auch auf eine Emission hin.

Thank you so much, Amelia! I suspect the kittiwakes manage to fly under the radar;-) The guillemots are funniest, they often sit on the water and hectically try to start when the boat comes near. Usually they fall down several times before they manage to take off;-) A pity I never managed to take a photo...
