Großen Dank, Werner! In island haben Zäune meist die Funktion, unerwünschte Besucher rauszuhalten, d.h. hier soll die Heuwiese vor verfressenen Schafen und Kühen geschützt werden;-)

Vielen Dank, Volker! Rechts aus dem Bild ist der letzte Hof auf dieser Fjordseite, der noch in Betrieb ist. Was in der Hütte war, weiß ich nicht. Weiter unten standen noch mehrere verfallene Häuser uznd aufgegebene Anlegestellen.

A lovely fence..................in a wonderful location. Beautifully composed and taken Gudrun. I especially like the little wooden shed thing - it's perfecly place in the scene and draws the eye in nicely. The cloud covered cliffs make for a magnificent backdrop.
