Love the pink of the thrift on the cliff top. I'm not sure what the yellow flowers are - maybe 'bird's-foot trefoil'. Typical British weather. ;-)

Thanks a ot, Amelia! Yes, the yellow flowers are bird's foot trefoil:-) A pity we had fog all day, I had been looking forward to seeing the Isle of Wight. Well, at least we still could see something in this place, later on visiblity was down to a few meters...

Besten Dank, Uli! Hier ging's ja noch, aber im Osten hat man rein gar nichts mehr gesehen.... ich beneide deine Tochter:-) Was mich ziemlich geplättet hat: bei den Needles ist seit kurzem ein Rummel schlimmster Art mit Fahrgeschäften, Spielhallen und allem, übler als in Land's End!

Besten Dank, Percy! Wohl wahr, solange immer wieder ein Loch im Nebel ist, ist das sehr spannend. Nur später sah man kaum noch ein paar Meter weit, da hätte ich schon gerne mehr von der Insel gesehen;-)

Many thanks, Isabel! I love the clifftop flowers at that time of the year! As Ben says, the pink ones are Armeria maritima, the yellow stuff is Lotus corniculatus (bird's foot trefoil, Hornklee)
