In Australien haben wir solche Schilder mit Kängurus gesehen und an vielen Stellen hier und in Italien gab es Hinweise auf querende Frösche mit solchen Schildern...

HFF, Gudrun. We saw loads of signs for moose in Norway, but never actually saw one, although I did find some droppings! ;-)
The reindeer looks very relaxed considering that he will be working hard voer one long night very soon.

Many thanks, Amelia! We didn't see any moose, but so far north the woods are rather meagre, they probably don't like that....
That reindeer was spoiled;-) There were only two in the enclosure but they were about to round up all the others for winter -so there are plenty to share the hard Christmas job;-)

Vor vielen Jahren haben wir mit unserem Wohnmobil auf dem Weg zum Nordkap in Hammerfest übernachtet. In der Nacht hörte ich undefinierbare Geräusche: Draußen "glitt" eine Rentierherde um unser Wohnmobil herum.

Danke vielmals, Uli! Ja, im Sommer laufen die überall frei herum:-) Im Winter werden sie heutzutage meist zusammengetrieben- die Familie dort bei Sortland hatte ihre immer in den Bergen gelassen, aber wegen der hohen Verluste (verhungert, abgestürzt) dann doch auch umgestellt.

Herzlichen Dank, Uwe! So ein paar "normale" Kühe haben wir auch gesehen, aber die hier sind pflegeleichter, die kann man den ganzen Sommer draußen sich selbst überlassen.
Dieses Schild ist weniger klaugefährdet, da steht nicht an der Strasse, sondern nicht einsehbar auf Privatbesitz....Aber bei solchen an der Strasse - wer weiß!

Besten Dank, Leo! Wir mussten nach dem Schild noch einen etwas rutschigen Weg hoch, die Rentiere waren ganz oben auf der Weide. Der Weiße hat einen Sack voll Rentierflechten verputzt - ein bisschen hat auch das zweite Rentier abbekommen;-)

Die Schilder sieht man in Finnland auch überall, aber ich habe in Finnland noch nie ein Ren(n)tier gesehen!
Habe mir sagen lassen, die Schilder hätten vor allem versicherungstechnische Gründe. Wenn was passiert, kann der Staat sagen, naja, da war ja ein Schild, Sie hätten eben aufpassen müssen.

Merci, poly! Du ewarst in Finnland wahrscheinlich nicht weit genug nördlich;-) Das hier ist auf Privatgrund, war wohl eher ein Gag. Auf den öffentlichen Strassen ist es ganz sicher so mit den versicherungstechnischen Gründen.
