Lihou Island (with L'Erée headland) is Guernsey's only Ramsar site. Because access to Lihou is only possible at very low tide gulls breed virtually everywhere and visitors must take care not to step on them.

Vielen Dank, Uwe! Haha, ich glaube, näher hätte man nicht kommen dürfen, Möwenschnäbel können fies sein;-) Die Blümchen hat's im Frühjahr überall, das ist die beste Jahreszeit.

Thank you so much, Steve! Oh yes, they can be a bloody nuisance;-) The ones here were peaceful as long as you didn't get near them- but how to avoid that when they build their nest on the footpath;-)
