Laguna Capina

Laguna Capina
Laguna Capina is situated at appr. 4.440m, some 30 km north of Laguna Colorada. It is mined for Borax by manual labour using pick and shovel and a simple workshop and workers' lodgings are on the shore (see inset). The "road" on the left is used by lorries.

Merci vielmals, Udo! Ich will auch wieder, ist schon sooo lange her... Ich glaube, dein Monte muss da noch gut zulegen, den kannst doppelt nehmen, bis du auf der Höhe des Sees bist;-)

Aber es kommt immer drauf an, von welcher Höhe man startet! Von Meereshöhe auf 1000 ist heftiger als von 4000 auf 4400;-)

Also ich rechne das mit den 2300m von 'meiner' Lago-Höhe mit etwa 70m über den Meeresspiegel aus hoch... ;-))

Herzlichen Dank, Uwe! In der Höhe wachsen wenige Pflanzen, aber es wachsen welche, hier im Bild allerdings nur Gräser. Eine kleine Baumart kommt aber in Bolivien bis in 5200m Höhe vor!

Vielen Dank, Maik! Die dünne Luft hat eine unglaubliche Klarheit, da macht es Spaß zu fotografieren (man sollte beim Pano-Machen nur vorher den Polfilter abnehmen- grrr,-)
