Thanks! This is the only shot I got strictly for street lighting circuits. I do have many shots of power distribution of this area though. I do need to get back to Bluffton to get many more shots of poles with some using colored signals for their street lighting.

If you ever head back to Bluffton, would you care to get some pictures of the street lighting transformers and/or other related equipment? Those old series lighting lines are going away FAST, and you may be one of the last to ever get pictures of them.

Series lighting loops are still common out in IE_Rick's area, but yes, the 6.6A systems are getting harder and harder to find. The one here in Sioux falls disappeared around 1984 / 1985 and the one at Howard, SD lasted into the late 1980s.

Just saw this picture again and it's definitely one of my favorites! That old series street lighting stuff is getting hard to find.

And the insulators on those poles are the real deal when it comes to "sky tone"...nothing beats sky tone like seeing the sky through a clear glass insulator!
