Bokeh Thursday: Dishwasher Wheels
Today was one of those days...too busy for photography, but determined to do BOTH my 365 image AND my Bokeh Thursday assignment! It's never a good idea to go out with your camera when you feel rushed and cranky and not in the mood to take pictures! So, I spent about 20 minutes outside taking pictures of different wheels, and I went in the garage and found some more...and of course when I looked at all the pictures, not even one was worth wasting time on. So I went downstairs and before I went out to try again, I put some dishes in the dishwasher...and stopped. HEY! WHEELS! So I grabbed the camera and my macro flash, and PRESTO, I got my picture! :)
By the way, the white stuff you see on the wheels is built-up calcium from our high-mineral content well water. I never noticed it before! Now that I know how awesome vinegar is at removing calcium build-up, all I need to do is put a couple of cups in and run an empty load, and all that white will dissolve like magic! :D
