Icicles
It's not cold enough for icicles today but still very chilly and rainy. Perhaps the weather is reflecting the view of the ugliness of our soon-to-be-evicted-six-year-old-spoiled-president-who-should-have-never-been. Cannot even BELIEVE the outrages and horrors of the past couple of days. It's just shocking that there are actually millions upon millions who think that fool should be in charge. I loathe politics with a passion...it's no wonder why.

The events of (not only) the last few days weigh heavily and are saddening, and yet, or perhaps because of that, I wish all people in the United States and beyond a lasting healing process, however difficult it may be.

Well I, for one, cannot resist an icicle. This is an absolutely gorgeous one. We've been having minus temperatures over here, snow and ice have been around, but I'm so lucky to live in an area which seems to repel these things. It's damned cold, and not having any central heating in my home, I am getting a little tired of feeling cold. Still my double halogen fire is doing a grand job at the moment!!!!!

I must say, I have been thinking of you all over there, these past few days especially. It must be awful having this going on in your country. Very scary indeed. Things will change thankfully when Mr Biden becomes President.

Please stay safe and if possible stay indoors, there seems to be a second strain of the virus going around, but luckily the vaccine seems to be able to get rid of it too. I'm thinking of you. x

Er ist ja doch schlimmer und gefährlicher als ein Narr, aber Narren haben ihn gewählt. Und wenn man ihn jetzt nicht mehr einfrieren kann, dann sollte man ihn sicher einsperren.
Ohne Politik geht es aber leider nicht!
