The Sweet Posing Couple

The Sweet Posing Couple
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: POSED ON THE FENDER OF AN AUTOMOBILE (OR ANY OTHER PART OF A CAR).
The woman is holding a hat up to her face, and the man (possibly) has something on his head. They seem to be making a joke of some kind - but sadly, we'll never know what it was. There's no identifying info of any kind.
That certainly is a strange car. Does anyone know the make and approximate year?
This is a found photo, Ferrisburgh, Vt 2012

Fun couple and a nifty car! I'd be curious to know what kind of car that is, too.

Another fun photo for this theme! I love a car with a port hole. They do seem a sweet pair.

This is wonderful! I love this car. Also, it looks like he's wearing her hat, and she is holding his hat!

very fun!
best i can tell this is a 1928/29 Ford Cabriolet. though yours doesn't look like a soft top (actually i'm not sure the car in the photo i found actually has a soft top either). i'm just guessing from the photo i found online with this description: "Here we have a 1928/29 Ford Cabriolet with opera windows. I have never seen a soft top with windows like this before. Oval windows like this were mostly used in commercial vehicles such as roadster pickups. This photo was taken in 1940."

Thanks, friends!
Ellie, I bet you're right about the hats!
Raingirl, thanks for finding the link- very cool. I've never heard of this car brand before (not that I'm an expert in car names by a long shot) or the "opera window" which I love!
I wonder if perhaps this car was more common in Canada?
On a closer inspection of my photo, it does appear that there are slight folds in the window, so I'm guessing this IS probably a "soft top".
