Oh Marj, we all have our own ways of keeping the memories of our furry friends close and you have found a way that must bring a smile to your face.

I like that you have used a loved toy in your garden. We have had 6 cats over the past 53 years. We had them in twos each time.

Our first two were Nemo & Frodo and my brother sent us some wooden figurines, which we named after them. Then came The Roosevelt's, Eleanor and Franklin, we have two feline pottery pieces in their honor. Mr. Higgins and Miss Willow each have a piece of sculptured art work that in our minds look just like them. Miss Willow is alone now and will turn 16 in May. Mr. Higgins was a rescue cat and we think he was about 2-3 years old. We lost him at Christmas time a few years ago. Miss them all.

All good things come in Twos ( Pam knows that ) ....Funny how we have to have mementos of our lovely animals, make it feel their still with us .... I have a plants all round the garden in memory of all my animals over the years. Thank you Chris !!!

I understand ... Also saved some Lola's toys. Her prefered "yellow dog" is among the flowers on her small grave under a blue conifer in the garden.
