Spooky is as spooky does
Fore Street, Saint Day, Cornwall at dusk.
The parked cars reduce the slight spooky effect.
The low building directly behind the car was the old smithy. Saint Day still seems buried in its past.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Gillian Everett clubIndeed, the local mobile farrier has the equipment to do what smithies once did. I remember going with my aunt to get one of her horses re-shod and we went to an old-fashioned smithy / forge, I forget where but it would have been in West Penwith (maybe Sancreed but I can't base it on any evidence). I was about 8 at the time but I still remember it well as a fascinating place!

Isn't it a good thing that being buried in the past means that some of the modern construction sins have been avoided?:-)
