Thank you Jean. So would I, but I usually have a full days walking to fit in constrained by bus timetables and so I don't often get the chance to dally. Stopping for a bite to eat, a swift gulp or three form the water bottle or to take photos takes all my spare time on days such as this!

Thank you, Sarah! I wish I could come here more often but for various reasons, health, work, social reasons, Covid travel restrictions, etc. I find that my twice weekly walks here of 8 or 9 years ago have gradually been reduced to one every two years!!

Good luck with the lavender.
I once lined the whole of my front garden with it (not this variety obviously!) and as it was only divided from the pavement by a low wall, many people couldn't resist plucking stems from it as they walked past; which I didn't begrudge one little bit!
