Our 'moorish' tower on a sunny day. Algete street scene no. 12
We are on a small hill and this is a prominent (recently built) landmark. It houses the admin offices of the local community.

I remember this tower form a previous picture (but I couldn't find it). I also seem to remember that lack of windows is so that government employees don't spend all day looking out of them!

And yes, I have heard that story too but these are volunteers who look after the interests of the little community that is effectively a private estate, although no longer gated.
