Parque del Oeste, Madrid
One of the nicest of Madrid's parks, situated on grassy banks and with fine views to the Sierra de Guadarrama. This was the front line in the siege of Madrid in the Civil War and it took a long time, effort and money to restore and improve this park. But 'hats off!!', I think they did a grand job!

I did 23,000 steps yesterday morning, before it got too hot, and before the unmasked lunatics came out in force.
I'm pleased I did, as my walk took me from Cuatro Caminos, via Quevedo, Glorieta de Bilbao and Malasaña to Condé Duque, Plaza de España, Templo de Debod, Parque del Oeste, Moncloa, Chamberí and back home. A very pleasant walk indeed!
La vue est vraiment imprenable .
Bonne fin de nuit.
Thank you very much!
