In Samuel Beckett's Molloy there is a funny chapter where the leading character goes through complex monolog trying to find out how to use so called "sucking stones" equally. The stones presumably were supposed to be held in mouth to keep the hunger at bay.

I also believe we have a basic need for skin contact, it is reassuring, comforting and enriching. We all need a helping/healing hand from time to time.

My mom always said, "God gave us two hands, one to give and one to receive".

Although some may be skeptical of the healing powers of stones, crystals and other items, who is to say. If one truly has faith in them, there will always be the possibility of positive results. :)

Die bunten harmonischen Farben, die runden geschliffenen Formen und der Glanz gefallen mir bei deinen Steinen besonders. Den hellblauen Stein oben links mag ich übrigens am liebsten, wahrscheinlich wegen der Farbe!?

Mit dem Thema Steinheilkunde habe ich mich bisher noch gar nicht befasst, denke aber, dass es sicher seinen Grund hat, dass bestimmten Steinen eine gewisse Kraft/ Heilkraft zugeschrieben wird.

The shiny, rounded pebbles are colourful, pleasing to behold and delightful to feel. Maybe it is that sense of well-being that is the basis behind whatever it is that they are said to do for you!
