A magic day Toz. Been there again today, at the exact position as I took this and it was nought. Light is everything. But -the water has risen significantly in the reservoirs -that must be good.

Glad you like this too Peter. The rainbow in the bottom left is a product of light refraction within this lens I think. A small powerful beam of light was hitting the front corner element as I shot. The lens was clean and no filter used but one never really knows how these things happen -maybe a tiny water droplet from the mist? This quality Nikon lens is normally flare and refraction free.

May I ask, where you took this photo? Not a lot of it looks typical britsh/english. But I well know, what it is about "typical" ... ;-)

Thank you Leon. Very happy that this image both pleases and intrigues you. I know that this image looks quite different depending on your viewing screen. My Ipad look far darker than my PC monitor. I say that because the darkest part on my monitor here, it still looks fairly bright.
This scene is just about 4KM from my home in Oldham, North West England, so very British! Glad you liked it.
