Part of the reason it took the photos of the milky way was to see if there some more interesting targets worth a shot at. The normal targets that astro photographers do have all been done so it was try some thing very different possibly not done before.

what you are looking at is the first faint Red dot from the Right in the PIP below of the milky way shot from last year.. If you are not sure click on the photo below look at the first pip from the right.

Milky Way Core

I did not know this name I only knew where to find it in the milky way but as told that it did have a name. I am also shooting a second target looks rather interesting as well not far from this target as well.
