Omega Centuri NGC5139

Omega Centuri NGC5139
As I have had a string of cloudless moonless nights I decided to try one of my old targets. I had to get Clara to point with the Laser pointer so I could find the target in the 600mm lens in 2019. Its a whole lot easier on computer in 2021. another of the only in the southern hemisphere

Omega Centauri (ω Cen or NGC 5139)

I have to say far more please with this shot than the first in 2019.

The south is blessed with a large number of extremely nice astronomical objects. This is one of them and you present it as it should be presented, beautiful

Thanks Ko I wanted to do it justice not quite so the first time, It did take a few shots to get the right exposure for it. Quite amazing when I first saw it this morning in all the Stars and its Glory.

I had to relook at both my old shot and the net why I had these radial lines but all other places only prove they are there and this shot only highlights them.

A great shot of this globular cluster, Steve. We are indeed fortunate to have our southern night skies.
