The stars you just can miss of the milky way in the city with all the pollution is the Southern Cross and its two pointers as they are so bright but the rest of the milky way colour you can not see. it looks way better with no clouds going over it like the first set I got . Glad you found it as you will not see it unless you come south but once you have seen it you will never forget.

Hay que tener afición y paciencia para estas fotos, supongo; una buena compañía ayudará

It started as a child reading book my father had with photos of the stars it all came together when I got the D600 and this also helps.

I'd say you have the system tamed now, Steve. Good to see the mount and tripod too, I'd been thinking it had to be pretty substantial.

I have the is the whole electronic side to this unit I still have to comes to terms with but it was the unit I should have bought. The good thing is the smaller older unit taught me so much that carries on with this unit. It is certainly not light but I have been able to carry outside each night but I had to pack it away today as we have my assistant over

Terriorist

and all those buttons would be so tempting .

I can tell you I cant wait for a clear black night to really show just what this unit can do. Unlike the old unit that the subject crept across the frame all I have see so far from this no movement at all much better clearer stacking of shots.
