On the Rocks

On the Rocks
First try with the 14mm lens and home modified holder to hold a 150 x 150 clear night filter. on my full size shot I can see the red of the Orion nebula highlighted by the filter. first real break in the clouds looking out to sea due west.

Not an outstanding photos to most but a big step forward.

A total desperation from being clouded in.I want a night to get out in the dark with the filter to see some real results but forecast is not at all nice.

I like this one Steve. The swirling mist effects around the rocks are really appealing. As usual the night sky of yours looks marvelous. Well done.

The waves where crashing on the rocks to create that effect and clouds moved, the net result results a great picture. just hope for today night in the hills to really test this out. make a great background between snow shots.
