Armrests ensure this bench is for 4 sitting persons. Lying at the whole length is not an option! HBM, Amelia!

A lot of railway stations have this type of bench. I think it's to discourage people sleeping on them! I do like the floral display along the platform, the staff have obviously put a lot of work into it. Very nicely composed and taken Amelia.

The cold and unwelcoming nature of the seats is accentuated by the contrast with the lovely garden and its setting.
