View from Oliver's point over Shropshire towards the Welsh foothills

View from Oliver's point over Shropshire towards the Welsh foothills
It was around here that we found the pine cone fungus that is shown in the clickable PiP. It's a fairly gentle climb to the top, and the views are superb even on a dull day.

Name: Oliver's Point
Hill number: 17190
Height: 161m / 528ft

Tiny mushroom growing in a pine cone

No mountain biking

The view is beautiful. I like they way the two figures are framed by the tall tree trunks. Lovely PiP too. Such a tiny little fungi.

I can see what you mean, but this photo is nowhere near as romantic Friedrich's paintings.

Beautifully composed with the two people framed between the trees...........the view across the lovely patchwork fields is beautiful. You did well to get some decent definition in the grey sky, which is not always easy. Super shot Amelia.

The view is really good amd you framed it beautifully! A sad thing they have to explicitly prohibit mountain biking, it's the same here...
