After a morning spent looking round a garden, I thought it was only fair to drive along to the nearest airfield, to do some plane watching. ;-)

For me the weather is too hot, Peter. The garden is very dry, and our roses are out about 3 weeks earlier than usual. We have a village garden trail on the July 2nd, and all the roses will be pruned and waiting for a second flush. Even the Clematis viicella may be past their best. I wouldn't mind some rain. ;-)

It belongs to a vintage soldier and plane spotter. He was quite a character, and told me his car was a bit dirty.
