Well folks I have lost my house sharer for a few days...... Mandi has gone home for a while, I think tonight a friend of hers is going over for the evening, they are going to watch the Sport Relief programme which is featuring many comedians and celebrities who are raising money for families here in the UK and in those countries where the children need help. It's on for about 6 hours, so they have purchased a litre bottle of vodka and two litres of cola, so they will be three sheets to the wind before the end of the programme..............
Yesterday we went shopping and as you know - I feel completely shattered afterwards. So I did very few things after coming home - and in fact I'm still very tired, so am going to have a quiet day - well what's left of it....
I went outside this afternoon after she'd left - before the rain came back - and took some pics of the colour which is starting to emerge in the green/grey and brown garden...........
The celendines are such a lovely bright yellow and they brighten up any spare place.....
Even the daffodils are putting their pennyworth of colour in. There are so many varieties of them dotted around - but my favourites are the double headed ones..........
The primroses are growing in lovely large bunches along the driveway fence so it's gorgeous to see colour as you go up the drive..........
In the grass on the top lawn, some other primroses are popping up as are these lovely bright pink polyanthus.......
Daisies are just coming up all over the place - it doesn't care ..... it'll show itself wherever it can...................
Just under the lounge window is a huge collection of grape hyacinths. Usually I just see the odd one and today there were about 20 or more............
Sweetpeas are steadily climbing out of the hedge, and hopefully will give a lot of beautifully scented flowers as usual..........
Some of the hedges have tiny flowers of the forsythia growing out of the barren branches.... shame they don't stay out in flower to show themselves against the green leaves - but they don't.....
Elderflowers seem to be everywhere you look, when you look upwards. If I was a wine maker, then I'd be cutting these down like nobody's business, or else have taken them down a few weeks ago for the berries. I don't - so the plants stay pretty much the same............
The lilacs are budding everwhere and it won't be long before the whole lot are covered in blossom..............
The figs are starting to grow - it's strange where the fruit comes before the leaves........
Cherry blossom is starting to bud........ great to have that gorgeous white blossom coming out again.....
The cats can't get used to the new state of the driveway. My neighbours have been so busy clearing some of the ground, that they are confused as to what's where etc.
Well it's raining at the moment - I'm going to have a quick kip for an hour or so, then I'll be visiting everyone's pages hopefully once I've studied the inside of my eyelids for a while. LOL

Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my pictures. I really do wish I had a better camera, but I haven't, so I can only do my best.
The cats are keeping me company and now I've lit the fire, they are both enjoying that. Bit of sunshine today, but the wind is bitterly cold. Still Spring is on its way apparently.
Take care xx
