There are other kittens and cats who live in the garden here. Mandi and Dogan have made beds for them under the outside stairs, they've put blankets and cushions for them. They also are fed twice a day and fresh water supplied daily. There are about eight regular cats, who come when called, who had appeared when tiny kittens having been abandoned by the mother cats.

This is Gingie - so called because she's ginger and white. She was one of the first to arrive, she was so small, she's got an incredible appetite, yet she's too nervy to be stroked. She's getting brave enough to come close to us, but we can't stroke her just yet.

I think this is Jade (don't ask why she's called this!) - at the moment she's being hounded by some male cats, so she's gone to ground and hidden in the chicken shed!!!! She's a sweetie, but obviously on heat at the moment.

This is Batman - not a very good picture of her, but she's always moving around quickly. She should be called Batwoman really, but when she was named they didn't know what gender she was. She's so affectionate and loves nothing more than a cuddle and will snuggle in, purring up a storm and making biscuits with her paws.

This is Grayson, and no he wasn't in a fight or anything. Some of the cats have a problem with one of their eyes and Grayson's was weeping, you can see where he's wiped his eye on his front paw. He was called Grey at first, but that's too plain a name for such a pretty cat, so he became Grayson.

This is Charlie - and this is because he has markings on his face that look like a moustache - Mandi thinks he looks like Charlie Chaplin, I thought more like Hercule Poirot, but when I suggested he be called Hercule - I was shouted down immediately!!!! He's very friendly too, but once food is around, he's there straight away and woe betide any other kitty getting it!!!

This is Solo - because of the one spot on the left cheek. Mandi wondered that maybe they should change her name to Marilyn because of the beauty spot, but Solo seems to know her name now. Another friendly cat, but a bit shy,

Now we have Daisy. She's so sweet, again quite friendly and to a point you can stroke her, but only if she feels like it!!!! She's Gingie's sister and they are often seen giving each other a kiss and their tails intertwine - so sweet.

Now this is a new one - only been here a few days. It seems to have been accepted by the group, so I think it must be a girl, another male would have soon been seen off.

We were having our supper outside on the patio, and we had the usual suspects just waiting for a tidbit!!! They were quite patient and waited until we had finished our meal and then gave them the odd bits. You try feeding 8 cats at the same time!!!!!

Whilst we were sitting outside, there were a few planes flying overhead, leaving vapour trails so that meant they were at least flying at 35,000 feet. Now normally you know they leave straight lines - well this particular one seemed to have had a cough or else had "wind" - because the vapour trails looked like this....

You see what I mean?

Finally in the bedroom, Pasha and her two kittens are still in residence. They are growing so quickly and so adorable.

This is Pasha - their mum - with markings to die for, especially around the eyes.

These are the two little fluff balls. So gorgeous and are getting into everything.

I'm sorry if I've bored you with all the kitties, but it's so lovely having a plethora of cats here, when I've only got Pippin at home.

Today was a big day for me - I had my hair cut. Now can you imagine how I was feeling going to a hairdresser in Turkey, to a lovely young man, who doesn't speak English?!!! Well Mandi trusted him, so I took a deep breath and went for it. Now I feel shorn and I can feel the wind through my hair!!! He did cut it short, but whilst I'm out here with high temperatures, it seems a good idea. He's done a great job, but I'm still a bit nervous of having such short hair.

Okay folks, the only reason I'm able to write this, is because Dogan is out watering their garden and Mandi has just made supper and is having a quick snooze on the couch. So I'm free to write this blog. I hope you all have a great week and I'll be in touch again soon.
