Well this morning, I had a lovely text from Mandi, who informed me that she was lying on the sun lounger, on the beach in hot sun drinking a beer!!! Of course I was delighted to hear that, considering I was shivering here in my lounge with dark clouds looking rather ominous - NOT!!!!

So I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to get the car engine running, and go to the sea-side. I'd forgotten it was the last day of the half term holiday and therefore there were lots of people and children down there. The tide was in...........

There were surfers trying to stay on top of their boards but they did have problems with the sea...........

When I got home, Pippin was upstairs on my bed having a snooze and Boo was happy snoozing on her newly "claimed" couch........

but now Boo prefers the throw ontop of the couch so she can keep an eye out for Pippin!!!!! Her other place of advantage is on top of the couch in the window.......

It was really lovely being free to just pop down to the beach when I fancied it. Maybe the idea of having my own car isn't such a bad one after all.
