Green spring shoots. Acer palmatum?. I had a bonsai of this variety that could not overwhelm my careful care. I must be unlucky because none of my bonsai survived. Kind regards, Anton.

I'll take you word for the identification Anton. We got it from a neighbour who was moving out and it had no label. I'm glad you like it though.........currently it's around a metre high and we're hoping it will thrive.,
