Caught in the Garden

Caught in the Garden
Does anyone know what sort of insect this is?

I caught in my garden this afternoon. This is about twice life size.

Can you tell I'm bored?

aNNa schramm, Jean Paul Capdeville, Frans Schols, Ulrich John and 10 other people have particularly liked this photo

Ha Ha - yes she does look rather stiff and obviously not caring that she's invading your garden. Maybe look for a hobby that takes your mind off being bored. That's why I do jewellry, as well as sudoku, word breaks and sometimes my patchwork quilting. Not that I'm suggesting you take up things like that - but obviously something that engages your mind. I live alone and I need these pastimes to keep me from going insane (not sure if it's working though!!)

I'm pleased to have given you a laugh Jenny.

I think I'll take up photography! I also do cryptic crosswords and read a lot.

Ha ha, yes we can tell, but you filled the time well Keith ;-))
I think it's a female of the species, but there are so many of that breed, so I cannot name it!

Glad to has given you a laugh Rosa............my wife found some small figures and tiny jars in a craft shop and I couldn't resist setting up a shot!

I was going to say it keeps me sane...................but maybe it's having the opposite effect!

You're obviously a well educated man Jean Paul..........and you've got the identification correct..!!

If there was a prize you'd definitely win it :-)))

I shall definitely communicate the details to King Charles III...............but not until after his Coronation as he'll be a bit busy!
