So ein Blick unter Totholz im Winter oder wenn der Schnee weg ist,zahlt sich immer aus,weil man da einige Insekten finden kann!Die Assel ist ca 1.5cm lang,der Rückenpanzer ist grau bis braungrau, segmentiert und hat eine charakteristische gekörnte Oberfläche,da sie über Kiemen atmen, trocknen sie leicht aus. Man findet sie daher an feuchten, dunklen Orte!In der Natur sind sie extrem nützlich, da sie Detritus zersetzen und so zur Bildung von fruchtbarem Boden (Humus) beitragen.

A look under dead wood in winter, or after the snow has melted, is always worthwhile, because you can find quite a few insects there! The woodlouse is about 1.5 cm long, its carapace is gray to brownish-gray, segmented, and has a characteristic granular surface. Because they breathe through gills, they dry out easily. Therefore, they are found in damp, dark places! In nature, they are extremely useful, as they decompose detritus and thus contribute to the formation of fertile soil (humus).

Un coup d'œil sous le bois mort en hiver, ou après la fonte des neiges, est toujours enrichissant, car on y trouve de nombreux insectes ! Le cloporte mesure environ 1,5 cm de long, sa carapace est grise à gris brunâtre, segmentée, et présente une surface granuleuse caractéristique. Respirant par des branchies, il se dessèche facilement. C'est pourquoi on le trouve dans des endroits humides et sombres ! Dans la nature, il est extrêmement utile, car il décompose les détritus et contribue ainsi à la formation d'un sol fertile (humus).
