Darkening Skies
Time to head for cover as the sky darkens and the light changes!
End of the walk for another day!
Large view perhaps!
Peaceful coast.
A gentle sea and a slightly hazy afternoon on the beautiful Kintyre coast near Westport,
This view looks out across the Atlantic Ocean to the coast of Northern Ireland (on the horizon)
Please enjoy full screen with a wonderful musical link, www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oSlZMe2WIo
Clouds.
Light clouds dance around "Beinn Dorain" 1076m, A Monroe in the Bridge of Orchy Hills,
A Monroe is a mountain in Scotland with a height over 3,000 feet (914.4 m),
The line that runs along the bottom of this conical peak is the A82 trunk Road,
A large view is in my view beneficial !.
Mill.
Ashton Windmill in Somerset, It is now preserved and maintained by volunteers, The tower is over 7.5 metres (25 ft) high with stone walls that are 60 cm (2.0 ft) thick.
The sails are 13 m (43 ft) across and used to be covered with canvas.
HFF and a good week,,,,,,,, Large view recommended.
Real Souvenirs !
This tiny souvenir shop (Only open during tourist season) adjacent to the Clachan Bridge is owned by the Tig and Truish Inn (Cish an Cruish) which is opposite.
The sign says, The old pub was used by islanders after the Jacobite uprising to change from trousers back into the forbidden kilt when returning to the Island.
The electrical wiring on the right of the building looks past its best ;-) HWW!
Oban Bay!
A view down the Sound of Kerrera into Oban Bay, With the town of Oban and Dunollie Castle in the distance
In 16.9 format, so for clarity a large view would be appreciated!!

Creels at Crail
So many comments regarding this pip I have opened it up for a full size view!
Kylie and Havana, pip.
A misty day and a capture from one of the working quays at Crail, a fishing village in the Kingdom of Fife,
The pip is of Creels at Crail, taken the same day on an adjacent quay.
Creels are traps used to catch crustaceans, in this case they are likely to be prawns.
HFF and a great weekend,,,,, A large view, perhaps.
A little relaxing Friday Jazz to accompany the image, www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXbpS5apPi8
Floral Wall,
A colourful parapet wall to the Clachan Bridge, Also known as The Bridge over the Atlantic. (See Pip)
This hump backed bridge links the Isle of Seil to the mainland and was built between 1792 and 1793.
Some may also remember these Fairy Foxgloves from previous images.
HWW and a large view please.
