North Sea Harbour

Our journey north continues with a visit to the small but beautiful harbour at Latheronwheel in Caithness, the bright sun caused some lighting issues but not enough to spoil the images I hope, A large view may be rewarding Uploaded as a part of our journey following the North Coast 500 route and uploaded to the North Coast 500 Group.

On the shore of the Dornoch Firth,

Finding time to visit the distillery of one of Scotland's main exports is a welcome distraction

On the Shore.

Very unassuming from the outside, this is the Glenmorangie Distillery, Tain. But interesting traditional methods are still used here. The aroma of single malt in the air is known as "The Angel's Share"

Dornoch Beach.

One of Dornoch's multiple beaches, this particular beach has miles of gently sloping golden sand. And some interesting rock formations as above at the northern end.
