Luckily there are lots of squirrels in the neighbourhood.

Nice to see the old clothespins. Reminds me of my distant childhood, and the days when all the laundry was hung out, and nobody thought anything of it. A younger neighbor mentioned that she'd really like to hang her clothes out, as it makes them fresher and doesn't use the energy of a dryer. Our homeowner's association would take a dim view of that, I'm afraid. In fact, I can't recall seeing anyone hang laundry out anywhere in town.

The demonization of clotheslines has bothered me, too, Bob. You'd think that would be the green option, eh? Maybe we could become clothesline evangelists.
