I recommend the large view (type Z). I could be wrong.

Certainly worth staring at, no matter the size. Though how can one be wrong in recommending something, unless they state the desired result?

I'm intrigued in the striking difference in colors of the wood at the top, which obviously began life as one piece, and still may be so, but appears to be two different colors to the point that it looks like two pieces pieced together. The bottom board does look like it is from a different part of the tree, both due to color and grain. The whole is puzzling, if one thinks about it other than as a minimalist composition in texture and color - which may be best.

Sorry for the late night flight of fancy.

It seems to me that the point of a photo is not to tell a story or to communicate ideas but to be stared at, Bob. And anything that kick-starts the brain.like a puzzle or a mystery, is desirable in these days in which decisions are made by algorithms rather than brains.

I mean, they don't call it artificial intelligence for nothing. So no flight of fancy at all.

I agree, José. The grain in the top piece is spectacular to my eyes.

It's like a plywood flag! :)

That was my reaction when I saw it, Will. I have a similar flag made of brick -- it's the wall of a building in Toronto. I'll see if I can find it.
