Sunday 3 May 2026 – Four Ipswich Buses Optare Tempo X1200SRs parked in the garage yard. In early 2019 Ipswich Buses bought all thirteen of the batch of these newer style Tempos from Trent Barton (trentbarton) (323-335) that were new in the early summer of 2012. They became Ipswich numbers 87-99.

Thursday 10 September 2026 (1250) - Whippet Coaches WG109 (BT66 MVK), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B8RLE new in December 2016, seen in Northampton Street, Cambridge. This was the 1150 service X3 from Huntingdon to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via Cambridge city centre. (I hadn’t noticed the driver’s thumbs up at the time, so belated thanks to him should he see this)

Thursday 10 September 2026 (1227) – Two Stagecoach East buses passing in Victoria Avenue, Cambridge. Left is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 in Local Services livery. Right is one of the thirty MCV bodied Volvo BZL electric double deckers new in the Spring of 2023. Fleet numbers are 86001-86030 and they carry the electric bus livery.

Thursday 10 September 2026 (1223) – Stagecoach East operates the City Sightseeing franchise in Cambridge using partially open top Wrightbus Gemini III bodied Volvo B5TLs new in May 2018. One of them is seen as it crossed the Victoria Avenue bridge over the River Cam. There are a number of boathouses on this part of the river from where the aspiring teams for the famous boat races set out.

Thursday 10 September 2026 (1227) – Whippet Coaches WG457 (BU25 ZFF) crossing the Victoria Avenue bridge over the River Cam in Cambridge. There are a number of boathouses on this part of the river from where the aspiring teams for the famous boat races set out. The bus was working the 1224 service T1 to Huntingdon. The service travels from Drummer Street bus station to join the Busway at Milton Road. It leaves the Busway at the Swavesey crossing taking to normal roads through the villages of Swavesey and Fenstanton. Two MCV eVoSeti tri-axle Volvo B8L tri-axle double deckers were added to the fleet specifically for the service in June 2025. These carry fleet numbers WG457/458 and registrations BU25 ZFF and BU25 ZFE (in that order).
