Saturday 26 May 2001 - Bassett’s Coachways of Tittensor near Stoke-on-Trent T896 LBF seen at RAF Mildenhall.

It is a Plaxton Première 350 bodied Dennis Javelin new in June 1999 sporting ‘miles of smiles’ graphics and lettering somewhat different from the company’s traditional and distinctive grey and blue livery.

The Bassett family operated coaches between 1949 and 2003 alongside their haulage business founded much earlier. When the fourth generation of the family wished to retire, the haulage business was sold to new owners in 2016.
