Tuesday 1 June 1993 - Bassett’s Coachways of Tittensor near Stoke-on-Trent G472 EFA, a Duple 320 bodied Dennis Javelin new in April 1990, seen at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.
The Bassett family operated coaches between 1949 and 2003 alongside their haulage business founded much earlier. When the fourth generation of the family wished to retire, the haulage business was sold to new owners in 2016.
The Tuesday Market in the small Gloucestershire town of Moreton-in-Marsh attracted scores of coaches from far and wide.
In the background is UDF 936, a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M of Pulham’s Coaches of Bourton-on-the Water, which hadn’t had to far to travel today. It was new to Pulham’s in February 1989 registered F401 UAD.

It is a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Leyland Tiger new in March 1993 sporting Bassett’s distinctive colour scheme.

It is a Plaxton Première 350 bodied Dennis Javelin new in June 1999 sporting ‘miles of smiles’ graphics and lettering somewhat different from the company’s traditional and distinctive grey and blue livery.
